12U FALL PROGRAM

 

  • Skills Camp: $75 Late July/Early August (date TBD) – open to all players. For Fall Sox players, the fee will cover your hat and uniform shirt.
  • Games: Competitive fall matchups
  • Training/Practice: Optional sessions on select weeks
  • Tournaments (4–6 total):
    • 3-4 Midwest Tournament Factory
    • 1 Sports Force
    • 1 West Virginia
    • All tournaments ar

Ohio Sox players will have access to a structured, high-level offseason training program focused on development and preparation for the upcoming season.

Training includes:

  • Hitting sessions using video breakdown, HitTrax, and Blast Motion technology
  • Position-specific defensive work
  • Arm care routines and throwing programs
  • Baseball IQ developmen

 

Ohio Sox players will have access to a structured, high-level offseason training program focused on development and preparation for the upcoming season.

Training includes:

  • Position-specific defensive work
  • Arm care routines and throwing programs
  • Baseball IQ development through situational training and mental reps
  • Speed, agility, and strength training
  • Team workouts alongside other Ohio Sox age groups to build chemistry and leadership

SPRING/ SUMMER

 

 PRACTICE & REGULAR SEASON (April–June) 

Practice remains a key part of in-season development. Focus areas include:

  • Fundamentals
  • Situational reps
  • Position-specific development
    Regular season games will be played primarily against competitive open travel teams.

 

TOURNAMENT SEASON (April–July)

The 12U Sox will compete in 8–10 tournaments during 

 

 PRACTICE & REGULAR SEASON (April–June) 

Practice remains a key part of in-season development. Focus areas include:

  • Fundamentals
  • Situational reps
  • Position-specific development
    Regular season games will be played primarily against competitive open travel teams.

 

TOURNAMENT SEASON (April–July)

The 12U Sox will compete in 8–10 tournaments during Spring 2026, including:

  • Five Tool State Championship (with two qualifiers)
  • Tournaments hosted by Ohio Baseball, Midwest Tournament Factory, and Mash Factory, possibly others. 1 out of state.

12U EXPERIENCE

12U SPECIAL EXPERIENCE – COOPERSTOWN / RIPKEN / BRANSON

We aim to provide a once-in-a-lifetime memory for our 12U players.

After tryouts, a team-parent discussion will determine whether to attend:

  • Cooperstown Dreams Park
  • The Ripken Experience
  • Ballparks of America in Branson, Missouri
